CALLING ALL DESIGN STUDENTS…
If you’re a Design Student, then this is the competition for you… we’re looking for a unique, fresh take on our kit cosmetics product packaging and we’re throwing the brief out to you. Create your own interpretation of our theme ‘and there it was – a faraway land of colour…’ and you could see your very own designs on limited edition Kit Cosmetics product in kit stores nationally.
All finalists will have their designs displayed in a first of its kind kit exhibition. Finalists’ work, either in original or modified form, will be considered for the Kit Cosmetics Design Award Limited Edition Product Range to be launched in store at kit stores nationally in 2008.
The winner will receive $1000 prize money, a $1000 kit gift voucher to shop ‘til their heart’s content plus the kudos of having their very own design across the entire Kit Cosmetics Design Award Limited Edition Product Range. Two Runners-up will receive $500 prize money, a $500 kit gift voucher plus the kudos of having their very own design on a selection of products in the Kit Cosmetics Design Award Limited Edition Product Range.
Judging will be based on the following criteria: creative & innovative design, in-line with kit branding and graphic language, fulfillment of design brief and commercial appeal.
